Merchants can now send text receipts to customers after Tap to Pay on iPhone transactions.
Tap to Pay on iPhone now includes the option to text a customer receipt, creating a more streamlined device to device experience between your merchant and their customer. Reducing time, potential transaction error resolution, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Note: This update is only available through digital banking providers that have downloaded and deployed the most recent SDK from Autobooks. Speak with your digital banking provider to learn what SDK version they have deployed. Financial institutions must also update the app from their end.
Text a receipt functionality overview
Once a payment has been made, the merchant is presented transaction confirmation details.
- Payment Amount
- Card Type / Encrypted Card Number
(Note: If an encrypted card number is displayed, it will NOT show the customer's actual card number) - Payment date information
- Option to send a receipt to an email address or phone number
To send the receipt, the merchant must enter a valid email address or phone number and then click Send a Receipt.

Sending a receipt at a later time
Merchants have the option of viewing past transactions and sending receipts at a later time.
- Select the transaction list from the Tap to Pay on iPhone main page.
- Select the transaction.
- Enter a valid email address or phone number and then click Send a Receipt.
