QR Codes Now Available Inside Payment Form

Autobooks users who prefer the convenience of QR codes can now download and share their own unique code as a payment form link.

Autobooks users can now download their own unique QR code, and easily share it as a link to their payment form.

Autobooks users have always had access to their own text link, via the Accept a Payment feature found inside online and mobile banking. However, many small business owners prefer the convenience of a QR code, especially when it comes to getting paid during face-to-face transactions.

Now users can simply download their own unique QR code natively and share with paying customers, without having to resort to third-party QR codes found on the web.

Here's how it works:

For desktop users:
  1. Prodcut-update_QR-code-payment-form-1Inside the payment form tab, there is a new section entitled Download your QR code.
  2. When the user clicks Download QR code, a PNG file will download to the user’s computer.

For mobile users:
  1. Prodcut-update_QR-code-payment-form-3Prodcut-update_QR-code-payment-form-2Inside the payment form tab, users will have the option to click Display QR code in the Accept a payment area. When the user clicks this button, a QR code will display in a modal.
  2. The user can share the QR code directly on their mobile device for easy scanning, or even save a screen capture of the QR code to share later.
  3. To close the QR code modal, they can click the X in the upper left corner.
