Now business customers can get paid instantly — any day of the week.

With Instant Payment Mode (IPM), customer payments can land into a business’s checking account minutes after a customer makes a payment on an invoice or through the payment form. This cuts an already fast speed to deposit from 1-2 business days to mere seconds.

The business can turn IPM on and off, depending on their cashflow needs. Businesses using Instant Payment Mode will be charged an additional 1% per transaction when the feature is turned on.

Transaction fees assessed for IPM will be debited from the business account along with the standard transaction fees.

Here’s how it works.

Businesses that qualify for Instant Payment Mode will be invited to enable it through a message on their Dashboard (Autobooks may also notify qualified businesses via email):

Note: Instant Payment Mode is only available for full Autobooks users, and not for users relying solely on our standalone Send Invoice or Accept Payments modules.

Dashboard - PendingTo turn on Instant Payment Mode, the business will click Show me how from the dashboard OR navigate to Settings > Instant Payment Mode. InstaPay tab - Not enrolled-1

Next, they’ll click Start Instant Payment Mode setup now. The business will input their business checking account debit card number. This will provide Autobooks with the payment path to the proper account for IPM. The business debit card will not be charged.

Note: The business will see a success message once Instant Payment Mode is turned on:

From there, the business can enable or disable Instant Payment Mode as needed in the Settings menu by using the toggle switch provided.
