Signal Email Kit
How to Use This Content
Signal is built from the transaction activity in the core banking data Autobooks receives daily from your institution, and it surfaces the signals worth acting on. This kit provides ready-to-send emails built from messaging sent to thousands of small businesses, so your team can quickly act on signals shown to deepen relationships with your small business customers. To use this guide:
- Log in to the Autobooks Hub and navigate to the Signal tab.
- Use Signal Leads to filter to a specific category of signals. That will automatically create your target list, letting you export to CSV or click into a specific small business record and get their contact information to reach out.
- Match the Signal Category to the categories on this page to find an email based on the Action or Activity shown.
- Fill in the highlighted placeholder brackets with your Financial Institution information, such as your institution's name or processing rates.
Learn more about how the Signal tab works in our support center here: banking-help.autobooks.co, or contact our team at fisuccess@autobooks.co if you need assistance.

We wanted to make sure you knew about Payment Link, one of the payment tools inside your digital banking. Share it with your customers by text, email, or QR code, and they can pay you online with a card or bank transfer and the money settles directly into your business checking account.
Card payments carry a standard processing rate of [your card processing rate], and ACH payments carry a rate of [your ach processing rate].
You'll find Payment Link by logging into digital banking and looking for Payment Link or Accept a Payment on your dashboard, or reach out anytime if you have questions. We're happy to help.
Processing
Activity
Accepting card payments via third party
The customer is accepting card payments through a processor outside digital banking, like Square or Stripe.
Action
Win the merchant account (Autobooks acceptance)
Email to customer:
If you're getting paid through apps outside your bank account, you're keeping track of who's paid and who hasn't somewhere else too, and probably moving money over by hand to actually use it.
Your digital banking already has what you need to bring that together. Send invoices, take payments in person, online, or over the phone, and the money settles directly to your business checking account. That means no extra apps to check, no manual transfers to get your money, and no new logins to remember to track who's paid and what's still outstanding.
Here's a look at the different ways to get paid, built around scenarios you may find yourself in: https://getpaid.autobooks.co/industries. Card payments carry a standard processing rate of [your card processing rate]. ACH Payments carry a rate of [your ach processing rate].

Deposits
Activity
Receiving customer payments via a third party
The customer is getting paid through a P2P app like Venmo or Zelle, instead of a card or bank transfer.
Action
Convert informal receipts to Autobooks
Email to customer:
Getting paid through third-party apps means managing a separate system for every transaction, and no single place to see where things stand.
Your digital banking already has everything you need to get paid. Share a payment link by text, email, or QR code, take a payment over the phone, or send an invoice from your mobile device or desktop.
Every payment shows up in one place with a real-time status, so you always know where things stand. You can search by customer name, filter by date, and see the full timeline for any payment from the moment it was initiated to when it lands in your business checking account.
